The Louisiana Rural Health Association is excited to announce our first

Louisiana Rural Health Summit

This one-day event, to be held on November 10, 2022, will focus on the day-to-day needs and challenges of rural providers across the state of Louisiana. We will be seeking speakers to provide actionable education and information on existing or upcoming projects and programs available to support rural hospitals, clinics, and health centers.

If you would like to reserve your room at the event rate for November 9th,

you can do so by calling The Hotel Bentley at 318-442-2226 and using the code LRHA. 

In order to make reservations, you must call to reserve your room. Reservations cannot be done online.

Registrations will close October 28, 2022 or when all spots are filled.

About the Association

Our Mission

  • To promote rural health as a distinct concern in Louisiana
  • To serve as a unified voice for health care providers, public officials, healthcare employees, educators and consumers working cooperatively to improve rural health in Louisiana
  • To provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and information related to the improvement of rural health
  • To serve as an advocate for rural health, promoting improved health status and improvements to the health system for residents of rural Louisiana
  • To encourage the development of appropriate health resources for Louisiana
